Donor Privacy Policy
Updated May 2021
Rock the Vote deeply values the contributions our donors make to sustain our mission, and we are committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this Donor Privacy Policy to inform you of the way your information is used, and make the policy available here for your review.
What information is collected
Rock the Vote collects and stores the personal information provided to us from online and offline donors, including name, email address, mailing address, and/or phone number. Please review our general Privacy Policy for additional information on how information is collected.
How that information is used
Rock the Vote ensures our donors that their information will not be sold to any third party. As outlined in our general Privacy Policy, some information on our supporter lists, such as names, email addresses, and addresses, may be exchanged with partners and other organizations with principles and/or missions that overlap with those of Rock the Vote. We provide donors with the opportunity to opt out of such supporter list exchanges at any time – contact us at info@rockthevote.org if you would like to opt out. We also provide you with the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so.
Your right to access and control your information
Donors can access their donation records and contact information at any time via our self-service portal. If you would like to remove your information from our records or opt out of supporter list sharing, please contact us at info@rockthevote.org.
Rock the Vote reserves the right to make changes to the above policies, and will update this page when such changes are made.
